Great news for skiers as Jet2 announce new Lyon flights

Skiers and snowboarders will be able to enjoy even more flights to the Alps from their local airport this winter following the news that Jet2.com is launching a new route to Lyon.

Jet2.com launched its first flights from the airport in April and will now operate to four ski destinations and 15 destinations from Stansted this winter.

Mats Sigurdson, Stansted Airport Aviation Director said:

“Jet2.com’s flights from London Stansted have proved to be really popular so we’re delighted to hear the airline is adding another new route from the airport this winter. The new service to Lyon will give skiers and snowboarders the chance to visit some of the best Alpine ski resorts direct from their local airport.”

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays said:

“The addition of Lyon, yet another exclusive route to Jet2.com from London Stansted, continues the successful start of operations from our newest base. It also strengthens our fantastic range of ski flights, and with services to Geneva, Grenoble, Lyon and Salzburg, customers really are spoiled for choice when it comes to choosing ski flights from our newest base this winter.”
