London Stansted Airport’s latest Jobs Fair saw more than 700 jobseekers pass through the doors of the Novotel Stansted this week (2 October) aiming to land their dream career.

Twenty-six companies based at the airport were recruiting for more than 600 positions, with a variety of roles including cabin crew, retail, border security, catering and hospitality on offer.

Some of the larger employers looking to meet new talent were Ryanair, Titan Airways, Border Force, Jet2.com and FedEx.

Our latest Jobs Fair has been a huge success, and we’re delighted with how many jobseekers visited the Novotel to see the huge range of opportunities on offer at the airport.

These events are a fantastic chance for anyone looking to work in a dynamic, exciting industry to see just how many different roles there are at the airport. We had over 700 visitors, demonstrating how keen jobseekers are to meet potential employers face to face.

London Stansted Airport is the biggest single-site employer in the region with more than 12,000 employees working for 200 on-site companies.

With a major recruitment drive underway at London Stansted Airport, we were delighted to meet a range of candidates who were interested in the Cabin Crew, Ground Operations and Flight Deck positions that we have available.

To make the event as accessible as possible, free travel was available to all attendees thanks to partnerships with National Express, Stansted Express, Arriva, First Essex, Airport Bus Express and Cross Country Trains.

All employees of London Stansted Airport and its partner companies have access to Travelcards which save up to 80 per cent on public transport across the area and into London.

Many of the visitors to the Jobs Fair were from North and East London as our Travelcard scheme makes the commute to the airport very affordable to all on-site employees.
