Catch the last of the snow with ease this Easter

London Stansted is making Easter skiing easier than ever this Easter, with dozens of weekly flights to top snow destinations across Europe, just in time for families to enjoy spring conditions on the slopes.

With Easter falling in April this year, skiers and snowboarders can take advantage of milder temperatures, longer daylight hours, and typically quieter slopes while still finding great snow at higher altitudes.

Passengers can hop on direct flights to major ski gateways like Geneva, Chambery, Grenoble, Turin, and Zurich, putting world-class resorts like Chamonix, Courchevel, Verbier, Serre Chevalier, and Sestriere just hours from London and the East of England.

For those wanting something different for their Easter break, Stansted also offers routes to less crowded slopes in Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Spain, and even the Sierra Nevada in Spain, giving Easter skiers plenty of unique options.

High-altitude resorts like Val Thorens in France and Cervinia in Italy, are both easily accessible from Stansted's flight network, typically maintain excellent snow conditions well into April, especially on north-facing slopes and glacier areas.

  • Alps: Geneva, Chambery, Grenoble, Turin, Basel, Salzburg, Milan, Verona, Vienna, Klagenfurt
  • Pyrenees: Barcelona, Girona, Toulouse, Carcassonne, Lourdes/Tarbes
  • Alternative destinations: Sofia, Bucharest, Krakow, Malaga (Sierra Nevada).

With airlines including Ryanair, Jet2 and British Airways all operating ski routes from London Stansted through April, travellers have plenty of flight options for a last-minute Easter snow getaway.
