Jet2 extends Tunisia flights into winter

Jet2 is extending its new Tunisia programme from London Stansted into winter 2027/28 following strong demand for the destination.

Flights to Enfidha-Hammamet International Airport, which are due to launch for summer 2027, will now continue until November 28, rather than ending on October 31.

The twice-weekly Wednesday and Sunday service will then restart on February 13, 2028, before continuing through the summer.

The extended season means passengers will be able to fly from Stansted to Tunisia during both the October and February half-term holidays.

Jet2 announced Tunisia as a new destination from the airport in June, with flights and holidays going on sale for summer 2027.

The airline says strong early demand has led it to extend the season.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2, said:

“The response to the launch of Tunisia for Summer 2027 has been fantastic. With plenty of demand from customers and independent travel agents looking to book early and looking to book Tunisia for some winter sunshine, we are delighted to be extending our programme from London Stansted Airport.

“This expansion gives customers across the South East even more opportunities to enjoy everything that Tunisia has to offer, whilst enjoying our industry-leading customer service. We know there is enormous appetite for this destination, and we are pleased to be responding by offering customers greater choice and flexibility when planning their holidays.”

Ciaran Brannigan, Commercial Director at London Stansted, said:

“It’s great news for passengers across the London Stansted region that Jet2 is to extend its popular summer 27 schedule to Tunisia into the winter season. The extra flights will provide even more choice and reflects the strong demand from holidaymakers to enjoy a winter sunshine break from their local airport.”
