Stansted welcomes Love Island finalists

Summary

After a summer of romance in Majorca, the stars of ITV2's Love Island have returned to the UK via London Stansted.

The show's winners, Essex based Ekin-Su CülcüloLu and Davide Sanclimenti, and their co-stars touched down on a Jet2.com flight from Palma just after midday on Wednesday (Aug 3).

In the arrivals area at the airport, a large crowd of fans, friends, and family greeted the contestants with balloons and banners.

Airport Duty Manager, Natalie Putt, said:

“It was a hive of activity around the international arrivals area as fans and family members tried to catch a glimpse of the stars when they arrived at London Stansted on their Jet2.com flight.

“An ITV camera crew were there to film the contestants' arrival, while members of Jet2's operational staff and the airport's customer service team were also on hand to ensure the cast had a smooth journey through the airport.”
